Reflexology

Reflexology is a technique used to help restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium. This gentle non-invasive therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance and help to mitigate increasing levels of anxiety it may also help with:

  • Sleep disorders
  • Mood enhancing
  • Back pain
  • Fertility issues
  • Hormonal imbalances

Reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China and was introduced to the West in the 1900's by Dr William Fizgerald as Zone therapy. Eunice Ingham further developed zone therapy into what is now reflexology, her opinion was that tension or congested areas of the foot is mirrored in the corresponding part of the body.

Reiki

The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing developed in the early 20th century by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan.
 
The Japanese term for Reiki means Universal Energy and is known as ki in Japan, Chi in China and Prana in India.  Eastern medicine has always worked with this
energy which flows through all living things considered vital to well-being. 
 
This non-invasive treatment is personal to each individual, enabling the body to restore holistic homeostasis.
